I've heard of this beautiful place called Gili Air, and out of all the islands - the most being famous is Gili Trawangan, or simply people just call it Gili T. We planned a year ahead for this girlfriends trip, knowing that everyone is busy and of conflicting schedules, but thank god everyone managed to come togetehr in the end. And while we were at it, might as well we turn it into a surprise bachelorette party for Hun as the trip was just a month away from her wedding date.
We had the best time laughing, and heart-to-heart talks during drinking nights. What happened at Gili T stays at Gili T, but the memories stays with us. And what follows, are the visuals -
Kudos to Kokomo Resort who did very well in decorating our villa, as well as providing us their best hospitality during our stay. Our transfer from the port into the island was well arranged too with speed boat pick up from their private port at "Teluk Kodek". It costs us IDR 600,000 which is about MYR 170. I think it's a reasonable price of MYR 35/pax if you would like to avoid all the hassle and haggling of boat transfers at the "Bangsal" port. This fees is all in including horse rides to the resort upon arrival on the island, as well as carrying all our luggages (best part).
