My life, My memory, My dream

Also known as the toilet roll birthday 😂😂😂
This week, I managed to go back home for birthday with my family. Not expecting any celebrations cause it's still conditional movement control order (CMCO) afterall. Had a small warm celebration with my family, and of course mummy cooked a table full of my favourite food.
Thank you daddy, mummy, gor and jie ❤
My adventurous bunch made dinner plans, and for the first time in 3 months I had steamboat. Throughout dinner, the house was filled with our laughter and non-stop chats. The girls bought me a cake, but little did I know it was a toilet roll shape. I burst into laughter and broke into tears when the cake was brought out. These girls really do know the way to my heart with their mischievous ways.
My adventurous bunch
A big thank you to my dear who never failed to be there for my birthday.
"A true friend is someone who would always love you - the imperfect you, the confused you, the wrong you."  Dear is exactly someone like this, seen me at my worst and yet accepting me for who I am.
Surprise delivery of dear's handmade burnt cheese cake
This birthday, I learnt something new. It doesn't takes much effort to be happy when I'm surrounded by my family and chosen family. I do not know how many more years we will be keeping in touch, or how long we will be friends, but I know many many years later even if we meet again you girls are still family by heart.

20/11/12 - 24/11/12

It was a beautiful day to fly. Only Singapore I know, but we got all excited cause' it was our first time traveling together out of the country, boarding a plane at the international airport. We felt high-class :p We didn't really plan out an itinerary on where to go, or a schedule on what to do. What we wanted was just a spontaneous getaway, to walk around taking plenty of pictures, and to meet long-time friends.

All ready to fly after sipping hot coffee

Orchard Road is beautifully lit up with bright Christmas trees, colourful lights, beautiful ornaments. We had good time taking pictures along the road, breathing in hot humid air. It was a warm night, with alot of smiles and laughter.

The warmest season is here soon. Even warmer with friends around.

Hello, Christmas. I can't wait =)

Was glad to have visited Universal Studio, meeting some of my childhood cartoon characters. It has been some time since I had an adrenaline rush during roller coaster rides. My age is catching up I can see. Never hesitated when I went up for the Spaceshot ride at Genting Highlands when I was young, yet can't help feeling nervous before the exciting rides at USS. Found my youth when I got down from the rides - seems like my bravery is still there.

The Elmo team had fun at USS

We said to be each others' companions until the right prince comes along  || If  only fairytale  comes true, if only happily ever after do exists

Thanks to our newly recruited partner in crime - we had a place to stay (even took up his bed and used his lappie), had someone to bring us around, to help us carry stuff, provided us wifi hotspot which drained out his iphone battery so ever quickly, be a photographer, and a great playmate who made us laughed real hard. I'll host you properly when it's your turn to come visit, this I promise you. =)

... tell me that and I might believe in you, since I was blinded by you before (not too long ago). Heard a lil' too many bad things bout' you recently, mixed feelings developed. A part of me which had let go felt so relieved to know that you are not someone worth to be upset at, another part of me couldn't really believe what I've heard cause' this is not the you I knew. However, there's no way to find out the real you, isn't it? We have lost the chance.

Sometimes, I wonder if there's a moment that you actually thought of me, the comfort I gave you, the special bonding we had.
Sometimes, just sometimes, I miss your presence. I miss sharing my ups and downs with you cause' you have always been a great friend who stood by me no matter what happened. I miss someone who really knew me that well.

Prolly' as time goes by, I shall bury all these feelings deep within and then meet someone like you in the future. Till' then, tell me if you still remember me, remember us.

cause' friends are finally leaving to different pathways. The letter finally came after months of waiting. It's weird that I still feel so heavy-hearted to see them leave when we all had been anticipating the letter. Couldn't believe that all of them have to go just like that once the letter arrived. We managed to have a gathering on the last weekend before they need to report themselves at respective states. All are scattered to different places - Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, KL.

Ever since young, I learnt that friends come and go. Some stayed, some strayed and came back, and some never. Each separation left me with bittersweet memories, and I wonder when is the next time I will see these familiar faces again. And at the same time also wondering, when I meet these faces again, will they turn out to be strangers? But, one thing I'm sure - I'm not that afraid to get posting letter cause' I have them all over the place.

Just, I'll be missing them so much, so very much.

.... for both dear and I. She finished her exam, my mum went for a short trip. So... It's time to partayyyy! Like always, dear is coming over my place for the weekend stay. Planned for a quiet night out along with pillow talks (maybe) but interrupted by a friend's lure to club. According to our agreement, all my club visits should be accompanied by you, hence I asked for your company. Because of you, we are able to go without trouble, without having the need to sneak and drive out like rebellious teenagers (our age don't suit though) :/

My partner in crime
Came back home early morning, with tired bodies from all the dancing (in heels). Woke up 4 hours later, with sleepy faces and aching legs -- we had an important date to go. It's the reunion of the besties after 2 years. Caryn and Bin had been our long time best friends, we used to go for movies, shopping, brunches, dinners together until one day we stopped altogether cause' everyone's too busy to meet up. That's an excuse, of course. We just didn't put in enough effort I guess >.<
I thought the meet-up would be awkward, or prolly we won't have much to say, but time is not a distance afterall. Conversation just flowed once we meet. It's like gossip girls again :)

After 2 years -- we changed I think, not alot but we did

p/s: Last day to see you before you going back to hometown. Wonder when will we meet again. Take care, bie.

your bestie tries to cheer you up, but pretending that she's not using any effort...

and yes, you are right. Someone else can make me upset, but it's just not you. Cause' you always know the way to lift up the curve on my lips even in my most upset days.

I wanted to be there on your birthday, like how you did on mine. It's not easy to see you nowadays, and even more harder to be alone with you. I insisted to own your time on Saturday night, stubbornly wanted a meet up although I know you are tired. Dinner was simple and relaxing, quiet without the interference of others, only us chatting and laughing occasionally.

It was only 11.30pm when you almost reached my home, 30 minutes more to your birthday! I need to buy some time, so it left me with no choice but to asked you to pull over your car. Time seems to have frozen when I need it to speed up. Finally, decided to just give you your pressies before 12am. But, I insisted to only say "Happy Birthday" when the right time comes.

The moment you pulled over, memories came flooding my mind. We did that before, when you sent me home for the first time. We stopped at that same exact spot, talking in the car, enjoying each other's company. Your touch felt warm, the way you patted my head felt similar. It feels like the days we've just got close with each other. Then, I realized "Ah... yes. We've come this far." It's almost a year now.

We continued chatting some more when midnight passed, and ended the night with a warm hug. Happy birthday, bie. This is the first birthday I'm with you alone, and probably the last one. I'm glad you like the pressies and my new fringe that I have. =)

The same question played in my mind for many times, two days before my birthday. "Will you be here on my birthday?" Like how I wanted you to promise me. But after the leaving on that morning, I realised whether or not you could fulfill that promise is no longer that important. Because, important is I hope I could still smile when I see you.

The day started slow with a healthy morning jog. I never really liked jogging, but this time around the jog brought me far from unnecessary thoughts. I found out that while I jogged in this big park, there are so many routes that I can take to reach the endpoint. It's the same in life, there are so many roads to be taken, some farther, some nearer. But, so long the road I choose is the one that brings me to the endpoint while being happy in the process then the distance does not matters so much, isn't it?

After resting properly, it's time for celebration. Finallyyyyy, I got to watch this long-awaiting movie - The Avengers! As what we have promised each other, all dears must watch this together. We have waited for the exams to end, waited for dear to come back from Taiwan, waited till' the gala night was over, waited and waited and waited...

My favourite superhero: Agent Natasha Romanoff. So cool, too cool  =)

Must-watch-movies list consider checked. Both Battleship and The Avengers. And how glad I am, you were with me for these two movies, sat right beside me, fed me with popcorns.

Dinner was joined by another 2 more good friends. Went to Brotzeit for the first time (again, it reminded me that we said we wanted to try this restaurant. I know that's the reason why you suggested it too... I think I reminded you some moments of ours too) Food was good, but the company was even better. I've listened to you guys singing me birthday song for 4 times! I felt heads turned to our side in the restaurant, and my cheeks were burned with flames, and yet I can't help smiling. You guys brought me so much laughter.

The big dinner!

I wished, I blew, I cut - Thank you loves!
With the girls

With the guys

Lastly, a drive up to Genting completed my day. Having drinks, and few rounds of Monopoly card games made our bonding stronger. We didn't "fan toi" in the end, did we? =)
On the way back in the car, I was silent for a few moments. Cause' you were sitting next to me, and I can't help but to think back that was the same exact situation when you first held my hand. Back then, you held me in your hugs and slid your hand into mine, trying to put me to sleep with your gentle strokes. I was wondering if you thought of that night when we first hugged, even for a second because that was a piece of memory that only we both shared.

Birthday only needs to be this way. Simple and warm, with those who love me and I love.

Little joy of the day: Was relieved that I not could only smile when I was with you, but I could laugh as well. I guess things between us didn't change much.

This is not a planned date. This is just me wanting to spend an afternoon with you, the last one after a PBL session. We've had 2 semesters of PBL together, and believe me when I said I was feeling really lucky to have you in a group full of strangers. You're like a special appearance during my uni life - unexpected yet important. You came at the last year of our studies, from normal friends and in an instance we became very close. Sometimes, it feels like you can read me without me telling you what's in my mind. We've always had lunch and late afternoon tea together, I think we deserve a mini farewell - just the 2 of us; as work companion, as best friends who share heart-to-heart talks, as master and genie, as dear and bie.

Although the outing is like a usual one, but the feeling in my heart telling me it's an unusual one. This is gonna be the last time, I know. It feels like there's a heavy rock in my heart. An unmoved one. I do not know if I will get used to it in the future without us texting every single day, seeing each other almost each day, and having meals at every other day. Since I do not know, I just want to appreciate the time we spend together, for now.

As usual, a bowl is enough for two.

A movie about battle between aliens and the navy

The movie is quite a nice one, or maybe it's nice because we didn't expect to watch a movie. It was a spontaneous decision. No expectation, hence no disappointment. Or to me, it's nice maybe because I watched it with you.

I thought our night will end after a fulfilling dinner. But, the saying goodbye in car came to a stop when we were asked to to go for drinks (like usual). Again, like last week's routine, we drank, talked, laughed, and played. Again unplanned, we went to Zouk. Things always go crazy when the 4 of us are together, isn't it? With a pounding headache, I still enjoyed the night. Because I'm with my three most favourite people - my bie, my dear, my bro. Because of my headache, I feel that you are pampering me more tonight (I hope I'm not wrong...) You stroked my face gently, patted my head like I'm a small girl, hugged me ever so tightly, lifted me up and turned around twice. We hugged more tonight, because i can't dance much. I need to go slow, really slow cause' the head's gonna explode with the blaring music and blinking lights. I placed my hand on your chest, to feel your heartbeat. I wanna remember this moment. Then only I can detach myself.

I finished Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie last week. In there, it mentioned about feelings and detachment. During the silent hugs we had, I thought of the words in it.

Brought me tears with its beautifully written words

Quoted from the book:
Learn to detach... Don't cling to things, because everything is impermanent... But detachment doesn't mean you don't let the experience penetrate you. On the contrary, you let it penetrate fully. That's how you are able to leave it... Take any emotion -- love for a woman, or grief for a loved one, or what I'm going through, fear and pain from a deadly illness. If you hold back on the emotions -- if you don't allow yourself to go all the way through them -- you can never get to being detached, you're too busy being afraid. You're afraid of the pain, you're afraid of the grief. You're afraid of the vulnerability that love entails. But by throwing yourself into these emotions, by allowing yourself to dive in, all the way, over your head even, you experience them fully and completely. You know what pain is. You know what love is. You know what grief is. And only then you can say, "All right. I have experienced that emotion. I recognize that emotion. Now I need to detach from that emotion for a moment".

Same for loneliness: you let go, let the tears flow, feel it completely -- but eventually be able to say, "All right, that was my moment with loneliness. I'm not afraid of feeling lonely, but now I'm going to put that loneliness aside and know that there are other emotions in the world, and I'm going to experience them as well."

p/s: I'm not afraid to miss you. No matter how heavy heart I will be, the emotion will be over when I've experienced it.

we can read each other's mind. When my mood is really down, and in need of a good company, your text came in just the right time.

"Dear, you have class today? Thought wanna grab lunch with dear", you said. Although tired and the time to meet up is just less than 2 hours, I still went and find you. Because I know, seeing you will lift up my mood. You are the one who could just make me smile with the slightest effort.

I found you, despite the heavy rain and storm

p/s: The moment we met, it felt too much like a drama, isn't it? =)

is not right. But, it seemed worthwhile when the simple drink-out session turned out to be a crazy happening night. It was an impulsive decision (post-alcohol effect) to go clubbing at 4am, with an under-dressed me. Just an hour ago, my nose was still blocked and tears were streaming down my face. An hour later, my sickness seemed to have went away when I am dancing with you on the dance floor. Throughout that one hour, you only left my side twice. All the other times, you were hugging me - either from the back or upfront. You've hugged me before, I've lied in your arms before, we held hands before. But, tonight we were so close that I could feel your heartbeat, your breath. So close that I thought I might be reluctant to leave you when you finally pull away - I couldn't have really fall too much for you, could I? It must be the alcohol effect, I convinced myself. But, one thing I'm sure of, I'm safe from other guys' touch when you are hugging me so tightly. Thank you.

p/s: You know that I really like you much, don't you? If not, you wouldn't have performed that little trick. My card was the "King" of spades.

A week free from clerkship, hence able to go for moviessss =)

Tuesday (3/4)
Movie date with the sisters. Girls love everything sweet and romantic, so we decided on the movie "Love". Like the title, it's all about relationships and love. We laughed and shed tears. Not a must watch movie, but it made my day with some of the cheesy lines.

Afternoon tea for 2 before movie

LOVE
Wednesday (4/4)
Another movie which I've been looking forward to ever since I saw its trailer - "The Vow".  However, it was not as impressive as I thought it would be. But, the story line is a beautiful one. Love story me like. =) It's been a while since our last movie date. And, up till now... We have yet to try the beanie seats yet! :/ Finally, we used up all our book vouchers during the 2 hours of books shopping. I've always enjoy spending time in a book store, quietly looking for books I like, reading in silence.

My buyings =)

Our 5th movie together

Caution! This is a super long post! I've warned you.
Finally, March has come to an end. This is the month which I had 4 quizzes, and 3 weeks of clerkships in a row. I've worked hard, and played hard too. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". I sacrificed my sleeping time so that I don't turn dull. Even on this last day of March, here I am typing away my assignment...

On a rainy Saturday afternoon

March has been a roller-coaster ride. Days can never be as busy as these.

A sneak peek on my fully packed planner

Friday (2/3)
It's daddy's birthday today. Some people say that every girl's first love is her dad. I strongly agree to this as my daddy is the first man who carried me in his arms, hugged me when I cried, and kissed me good night to sleep. I know someday I will find my prince charming, but he forever will remain as the king. =)
Happy daddy with his birthday cake!
Sunday (4/3)
Movie night with sister and friends. Had my first beanie seat experience, that's why it's worth to blog out. But, the movie was a disappointment. Even Nicholas Cage didn't made it up for me.

It wasn't up to my expectation >.<
Friday (9/3)
It's a regular date with my dear again. After a month of waiting each other, we finally got to watch this movie together. We made it a point to must watch this together, and indeed it was a good choice because we resembles the two best friends in the movie.

Action romantic comedy. A chick flick where you share good laughs with your girlfriend =)

One of the dialogue which reminds me of the friendship we share.
Lauren: Oh, i think I'm going to hell.
Trish: Don't worry. If you're going to hell, I'll just come pick you up.
I think that's what are friends for. Partners in crime, but loving each other at the same time.

Thursday (15/3)
After a quiz at the beginning of the month, and a week of clerkship, I need to de-stress. My best companion remains as my dear who accompanied me to movie, again. This time we opt for a relaxing cartoon - TheLorax. It wasn't as funny as how we thought, but I fell for the cute baby bear. It's so adorable that I felt like cuddling it right away.

It's not a peanut. It's The Lorax who speaks for the trees!
p/s: And again, you laughed at me saying that whenever I see cute things I will melt. Truth to be told, I do melt easily. Even at your smile, sometimes.

Sunday (18/3)
It's family day, and a day after sis-in-law's birthday. Just had my law quiz yesterday and hoped that I really do pass the paper. Forgetting about the quiz, daddy brought the family to a Japanese feast tonight which comes to a total bill of RM600++. Family day is such an expensive event.

Xenri, my favourite japanese restaurant so far

Monday (19/3)
On this day, I am to own absolute freedom for a week! Parents flew off to Taiwan for holiday. So much for having freedom, I've got no time to savour the taste of it because this is a super busy week. I know how hard it is to live without mum's cooking because I tend to skip meals because I'm too busy to even eat. If mum's around, I would have prepared food on the dining table waiting. I survived these few nights of dinner with the company of my BFFs. Thank you all! =)

Thursday (22/3)
The last day of paediatric department clerkship. I was already so exhausted that I could sleep standing, but still I asked for your company to have late lunch cum dinner with me. I never like you being dishonest to me, and hated it even more if I needed to lie to you. I'm glad that we made everything right today.
I still have this text in my phone...

You: Mina... Even when everyone doesn't trust me, u must trust me... K?
Me: Of course... Never gonna doubt u :)
You: Everyone else can think I'm stupid, immature or a bad person.. Only u cannot.

On the scale of trust of 1-10, you gave me a 7.5. Little did you know, I gave you a 10. Because this is what I've promised you.

Friday (23/3)
I only had less than 3 hours of sleep from last night due to the Admin quiz at 8am. Who has quiz at this early hour of the day?! My energy is all drained out, hence decided to skip the class after the paper. Before heading back home to my bed, I had early breakie with you, and then remembered that I was to go over dear's house to pick her up. It's our norm to sleep over at each other's place whenever our parents are not around. Thanks to you that I do  not need to drive in a tired state as you drove me all the way to Kajang, despite being super tired yourself. My tiredness seems to have disappeared upon seeing dear's Genie. I've always been afraid of animals, but only Genie I am able to to touch and play with. I guess this is all because of dear. I love her, that's why it's easy to like her pet too. During the car journey, there were times my heart skipped a beat when we held hands. That reminds me that even when I was sleeping in another guy's hug I didn't feel a thing. I guess you're just a little different from the others.

At night was the time I spent with dear and her "family". We had dinner and went G6 for after-dinner drinks. I had report to be done and I was driving so I refrained myself from drinking too much. But, even after a couple of glasses the emotions took over me and in a sudden, I missed you so much. Can I don't ever drink without you around next time? This post-effect of alcohol is not something I can handle. :/ At that moment, I wished that you could just appear in front of me. Like magic.

Saturday (24/3)
Today began late because dear and I slept in the morning. Poor dear had to accompany me all night to finish up my clerkship report. Today is a very packed day. If we were to put everyone who tried to asked us out today, we will have to meet different people until the very next morning 7am. In the end, we only chose few friends to meet up, and said sorry to the others. Had a dinner full of laughter with Ti, drinking games and lotsa alcohol with birthday boy and friend, bie, and dear. Lastly, not to forget Mr. C who fetched dear and I back from birthday boy's house at 5 in the morning.

All-day breakfast at Austin Chase
Studying
Sunday (25/3)
Parents finally back from trip! Can't wait to see them after a week. I'm still daddy and mummy's girl afterall. Went to the airport to pick them up, but unfortunately was stuck in the jam while on the way back due to the Sepang F1 race. Dinner was dragged until 11 at night. Reached home tired, but happy to see souvenirs bought for me. After everyone is off to sleep, there I was alone again burning midnight oil for Pharmacoepidemiology paper tomorrow. Poor mieeee :'(

Thursday (29/3)
Finally, a meet-up dinner for the 4 of us - Terrina, KVD, ZY and I. It had been awhile since 4 of us hang out together. We used to always have drinks and chats together. I miss those days. The night ended with 2nd round yum cha session with my dear joining us.

Dinner for 4 @ Pastis's Dining

It's time to off to bed after working on this long draggy post. Nights. =)

It's really funny how friendships / relationships develop. It all started from zero, where we are strangers encountering each other at the same place, same time. We got closer day by day, from endless topics to talk of, until today - no words exchange. How have we came to this stage? It's like whatever happened never existed, what's left was only memories that felt like dreams. I miss you, I really do.

p/s: Talking bout' meeting new ppl, I've met one on my first beanie seat experience. I didn't know I would sit on a couple seat with a total stranger whom I've only met for the first time. Sadly, beanie guy is nowhere to be found now. It was a first and last encounter. I have to say, your smile is really charming =) Take care till' we meet again (well, if we do).

Late afternoon chat which leads to this epic conversation,

Me: Dear, do you think you can live without me?
You: Of course, just that it's more difficult.
Me: Totally agree. There's no one person who can't live without another in this world; it's only the matter of leading a more difficult life.
You: Yea.. It'll be hard to live without you...
Me: It's hard for me to live without you too. =)

So, tell me if it's gonna be hard for you to be in this world without me.

...not so fine, when there's more silence than talking. If only I could look through your eyes and understand you even without words exchanged. But, I couldn't do that. Your genie can only do this much - to call and say hi. I said I'll give up, and you asked "giving up so easily?". Well, it's not easy really. As much as I wanted to stay by your side, like how you stood by me when I thought I hit the floor hard, or when I decided to shun myself from the outside world - you are slowly creating distance between us.

I said I'll ignore you, but you replied with a mere "Oh". I expected that from you even before I said those words, but a little part in me wish that you would at least be upset or angry or even demand a why from me because it at least proves that you are feeling something, that you are not as lifeless as I see you these days. But then again, I know you too well to not do that.

Months ago, we had the same conversation. I asked if I leave, will you be heavy-hearted, you said you will. Today, I asked you the same question but the answer came as you will just lead life the same. At that time, tears came to my eyes because I do not know someone can trust me as much. Today, tears too came, realising that I've not made a change in you. I am sorry.

p/s: You've changed me. Although only a little, I am thankful for that.

Isn't it lovely to discover this pinned on the notice board secretly by your beloved one on a gloomy morning? Isn't it a motivation to start your day ahead thinking that someone out there cares if you smile or not today?

For you my dear, I've smiled =)

I can smile, even if it's not easy at times.

Thought of the day: How sad if you are my only reason to smile now...

24th, The Eve
This year's eve wasn't planned at all. Dear and I only decided to meet up and then to follow the flow. Today started late - we said to meet by noon, but we ended up seeing each other at 7pm. Everywhere is full house at The Curve. Sis joined us for dinner, and due to her tight schedule we found an authentic Thai restaurant cum bar. I swear, that could have been on one of my top 5 list of worse dinner I've ever had. Not that the food tasted bad, but the music played almost burst my eardrums and the blinking lights (think of disco balls) got me into a headache. We ate as fast as we can and asked for the bill before I got myself deaf and blind on the eve. I can only say... This kind of ambience is only appropriate for clubbing, but not a dinner. Sister left after dinner, while dear and I went to shop around the flea market at The Street. Without realising, the clock strucked 12 and Christmas came. Our peaceful night came to a halt when friends called and asked to join them at Zouk. Then we clubbed the night away, with dear sleeping over at my place. Although things were unplanned, but we had great time together having each other as company.

Top: Candle light Xmas dinner with loud music & blinking lights, Bottom: We did ended up deafening ourselves at Zouk

25th, The Day
It all started days before Christmas came...

... and so, I've got a date as promised. I was looking for a peaceful day after the happening night on the dance floor on the night before. The day started slowly with a simple lunch together, and sharing a bowl of Snowflakes as we missed it weeks ago due to a small car accident (well, not that I want to recall it). Today is a relaxing day as I had wished, with little walking and watching 2 movies back-to-back. Being sleep-deprived, I was sleepy in the cold, dark cinema, but resting my head on your shoulder seems to have made me feel less tired. Both "Sherlock Holmes" and "New Year's Eve" were good, I couldn't decide which is better as they are of a different genre.

Our first experience of GSC Signature falls on a rainy Christmas night

*heart* receiving gifts - it's not about the value, it's the heart that counts =)

It took me such a long time to find you a right gift, and finally I chose a watch which I think will look good on you, while you gave me a bottle full filled with stars, and promised me a star a day. I told you repetitively that I want the bottle to be full with stars, and you told me to be patient and will fill them up slowly (at least wait till your fingers are recovered from all the injuries from folding all these little sweet things). But, to think again, if our days are gonna end when the bottle is filled up (we are gonna graduate someday and part ways and you no longer will make me stars), I suddenly wish that the bottle cannot be filled full... I am not ready for a farewell, yet.

Just like that, Christmas ended. Simple yet memorable.

Someone just asked me this, "From STPM to A-levels... until Pharmacy today, your goal and vision is identical.. Why lost this time?"

Looking at this, I didn't know what to answer. Yes, I've came so far so why am I giving up now. I said "I thought I could see my future, but now I don't know what's my purpose anymore..."

Then he continued, "You are still seeing it, you are still walking towards it. Please don't go away at this moment. This is a 100km marathon run. You fell down here, maybe it's just another 1km ahead... By walk or by crawl also you need to reach the end point. Otherwise the previous 99km is meaningless. Maybe the coming paper can just let you walk another 10m further, but there's no reason to give up."

Suddenly I thought... Who am I to make people around me worried. Who am I to make friends come comforting me in the middle of the night. I told him "I promise I will try my best". He told me, "Not only do your best. I wish to see there's fire in both your eyes and heart :)"

To this, I can only say thank you, with no more words from me - because what I should do next is to strive harder to complete my 10m run tomorrow.

P/s: To an important someone, you will not run alone, because I'm with you.

On this day, my dear had an little accident... I know how upset she is and I feel I should be by her side, to giver her the warmth and support that she needs. I offered to pick her up from work, but she's working late and her colleague will send her home. But then, I know there's something I can do. I could drive out and at least create an opportunity to meet up. And so, while waiting for her to finish work... Starbucks is the best choice to sit around =)

Best companions ever - BFF and Bunnie
I called dear when she's about to off work and told her I was at Cheras. I could hear her voice talked in rush excitement - I knew I made the right choice to come out. While waiting some more for her to reach, I did a little pampering by buying her a Creme Brulee Macchiato, just to make her feel a little bit better.

I never attempted to ask dear to be more happy, nor ask her to be more positive - because I knew what she needed at the moment is to complain, and rant, and curse on everything. When tomorrow comes, she'll be the cheerful girl again. Eventhough we were complaining about all the unfortunate events that happened to us, we could still laugh and joke. And I think, that's what are friends for - to be able to laugh together no matter how bad things are. We are just there to support each other even if the sky falls.

And tonight, together we made an agreement...

We can still have a little fun although there's only 3 of us :p

Other than the agreement, we taught ourselves the top 5 ways to cry when we are upset...

Dear's Creme Brulee Macchiato are full of her writings...

And lastly, not to forget the pictures of the night...

Although we were wore dark color clothings, but we always carry our smiles whenever we are together =)

Joy of the night: I received 2 "Thank You" messages from both my dear and BFF, because I brought them laughter, they said.

But little did they know, I was even more happier to see them smiling broadly.

About Me

Hi there! This is a personal space where I pour all my thoughts and mood posts into words. A place of serenity during sleepless midnights, and where I return to look at how far I've come and what had life gave me.

Live well, laugh more, love much. X
