My life, My memory, My dream

Ever since I started working, I don't have much time for my friends anymore... And that bothers me a little. I couldn't make any effort to call up people for "yum cha" session, to ask a couple of friends for movie and shopping and not even a simple hang out. During weekends, I'm always busy with my family and never thought of sending out messages to a friend or calling just to say hi. Even, I talked lesser with my dear compared to last time. She sent me a sms asking whether I want to chat with her on phone or not, I replied that I need to sleep because I'm tired... I'm always tired since I started working... For all I can remember, I never did reject her request to talk on phone. Even she didn't make a request, I'll also call her at least once a week (not to forget those frequent sms-es we sent each other) But this time, I'm sorry my dear...

So, every now and then, whenever a friend came across my mind... I'll just quickly text him/ her or make a phone call. Many Thursdays ago, I bumped into an old friend, Daniel. After that, while driving home.. I called him and it's really nice hearing his voice again. We haven't been talking for more that half a year.. that's really long... When I went off to Bali, I received Caryn's sms thanking me for her birthday present, of course I'm happy to hear from her, but sadly couldn't celebrate with her. I too received Cat's sms asking me to go MidValley with her but I couldn't make it. ><>

Then, Kitt's birthday was on 24th.. I sent him a sms and then called him while I'm driving on my way home after work. A voice from the distant... is what I need to hear the most. He is a one friend I really rely on very much. He is a companion during hard times and also a friend who can always make me smile and laugh whenever I'm down - because he's such a joker! ^^ Although the conversation only lasted 5 minutes (precisely), it's enough to keep my night going on cheerfully.

The warmest message I've received was from Yew last night. We haven't come out to see each other for quite some time. He was very caring sending me a msg saying he hopes that I'm fine, and promises to come out "yum cha" soon. Thank you my friend for remembering me although I didn't make any effort to find you. I'll definitely show myself up when you call. :p

Not to forget the many phone calls and sms-es from a friend in US. I bet calling and texting me costs you a lot, my dear. :p Waiting for your return soon in May... (You promised me my 21st birthday present all the way from US!) Haha.. *Hugs*

So, to all my dear friends, do not feel surprised when I suddenly call or sms you guys. Because I just miss you all so much....

A long awaited trip - Bali, Indonesia.... and also a long awaited post... I was supposed to write this earlier, but I just couldn't search for the time... 24 hours a day is just not enough!
Very quickly, I've came back from my Bali trip for one week. This is trip I've longing for since last year. It's been a long long time that 5 of us went off to a trip. I missed how my family spent time together. :) This trip was an enjoyable one although the weather there was quite unpredictable. It is really hot and sunny this minute then the heavy rain comes in the next. Our itenary was interrupted but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Bali is a place where the people are very hardworking. They wake up early in the morning and work till night and then spend time with their family. Their life compared to us, I guess it's very different. They don't have much entertainment and night life. Although the children there are poor and have to walk to school for hours, and some have to start working at early age, they don't seem to mind at all. Happy faces are seen and laughter are heard.
Few places at Bali really did fascinated me. I especially like the hilltop at Kintamani where the weather is so much cooler and the views are breath-taking. Having lunch on top of the hill over-looking the volcano and lake is awesome! Then, there was this temple which left me a deep impression because this temple is built on the edge of the cliff of the sea. So, people can only go for praying when it is low-tide. During high-tide, the temple is completely covered underneath the seawater. Impressive, huh?
Shopping at Bali is really nice! The accessories cost so much lower than Malaysia and I'm soooo regret that I didn't get to buy more. There were too many selections and at last I couldn't decide, so only bought few. Bags and sandals are really famous here - all hand made. We didn't had much time to shop because our itenary doesn't allow us to do that plus whenever we wanted to go out for walk and shop, the weather will start to rain. :(
All in all, the trip was a really nice one and hopefully there will be more of this trip coming up. ^^
p/s: Photos will be uploaded asap...

There is always this kind of decision I have to make after every result of my major exam is released. There is always this anxiousness I have when I don't know what to decide, what to do with my life later on. I'm forever worrying that I will make a wrong decision ( I had a few done for the past couple of years ) but I told myself never to regret and so, I don't regret. Guess this is some principle I'm holding on dearly to live on...

My results of A-level came out at last. This is the time to busy on doing research of which university I want to enroll in and also to worry about whether the universities want to accept me or not. To get admitted to a pharmacy course, I have to go through interview and aptitude tests... yes, another series of tests. Reason to work hard is to get into the course - my dream that has yet to be accomplished since secondary 5.

Many had asked me why didn't I enter other courses and insisted to do Pharmacy. I answered, "I found my interest, and couldn't let it go until I'm tired trying and knowing that I won't succeed forever". Some had asked why didn't I have a second choice or a back-up plan just in case I can't get into the course. Without hesitation, I answered "If I have a 2nd choice, then I wouldn't be doing A-level." Many may feel I wasted some time or made a big sacrifice, but again, I thought to myself, there is nothing worth gain without sacrificial. As the saying goes "No pain, no gain."

The moment I got my results, all I wanna do is to shout my heart out. Partly is because I did well in 2 subjects. Another part is I did okay for 1 subject. So I cannot decide whether to shout for joy, or shout in pain. Sigh.. Contradictions...

Hopefully, I'll get admitted to the course I've wanted all along then I could start working towards my goal. All I need is to get into the course... Wish me luck, my friends.. Will you?

Please God... *praying hard & crossing my fingers*

The time now, 0031...

To start off with this, I've been tagged by a friend whom I never thought she would do so...
It was pure coincident when I'm browsing through her blog during my lunch time and realized that I was tagged for about 2 months ago... Thats was very long. To fulfill my mission, I have to start answering questions now.

Rules: Do this tag and answer all the questions into your own blog. Delete one question from all the questions and add one of your own questions, make sure it is 20question. Tag 8 persons.

Questions:
1. What was your dream when you were a small kid?
When I was a kid... I've dreamt to be a doctor, a nurse, a teacher, a lawyer.. and the list goes on. But the one main goal is to lead my life happily around the ones I love.

2. What is the happiest thing in your whole life?
To be born into my family, and having to own friends who are there looking out for me. There were arguments with my loved ones, but again.. who doesn't? And so, I'm happy only when I'm with them.

3. What do you wish to have now?
Money. Lots of it.. So I could accomplish my dream..

4. What have you realized recently?
That I've been too busy to keep in contact with my friends. I should make some effort to make up calls and arrange for meet-ups.. someday...

5. Do you think a day which consist of 24 hours is enough for you?
Definitely NOT. I'm a time waster. Especially I'm working everyday now, time is like nothing to me. 24 hours just gone by like this.. *poof* Vanished!

6. When you have something which you are unhappy about, what will you do?
Sulk on the bed of my room before calling up my dear to discuss about it.

7. Are you afraid of losing?
Of course. Who doesn't? Losing in a game or competition may not mean much to me.. But losing a person is a no-no.

8. Do you think that you feel helpless, or useless sometimes?
When I fall into depression.. yes, I do feel very helpless and useless.

9. Do you believe in god?
Well... I pray to God. So I guess, I believe.

10. List out 3 kind of people you hate the most.
1.person who pretended to be a friend but end up "using" you.(I despise this)
2.person who could never fulfill promises made. (I've came across this kind.. way too many times)
3. person who appears to be the kindest person ever, but in fact very evil in heart. ( this is so fake!!)

11. What is loneliness?
There's no one by your side when you are at your most depressed situation.

12. Are you satisfied with your life now?
Life could have been better, but with my loved ones around.. What could I ask for more? :)

13. When was the most recent time you felt touched? Felt touched by the recent advertisement on TV... I know it's silly but hey, it's really touching.

14. Where is the place that you visited and you felt the most beautiful?
The snow mountain at Korea. The snow scenery was really superb! Everything is white and beautiful... How I miss that moment...

15. Use 5 words to describe who you are.
realistic, emotional, loyal, procrastinate, money-spender.

16. If you have one wish that’ll come true, what is it?
I'll wish that all my wishes can come true.. Hahaha.. :p

17. Do you have anything to worry or to be scared about recently?
Yea.. I'm worrying about my results that soon will come out. It will affect my degree course. Gosh.. I'm so scared...

18. If the world is going to end, what will you do?
Meet all my loved ones and spend the limited time with them.

19. Name one person you cannot live without.
I can't live without many people. Not only restricted to one. So I can't name any.

20. If you could change the history of yourself, which one you would choose and why.
I seldom regretted my own decision. But if there's really one which I could change, I wished I would have ended my relationship in a better way.

Good News! I don't have anyone in mind that I would like to tag now. =) Guess no one is really free for this.. Am I right?

It's showtime!! The stadium was fully packed with audiences as the tickets were all sold out except RM168 - rock zone. Screams and whistles were heard throughout the concert. Fans club were wearing the offical T-shirt and were holding banners waving frantically. The crowd did surprised me a lot as if half KL has came here to watch his concert. I do love Jay Chou since long long time ago. I've even been to his concert in Malaysia 3 years ago and that was superb! Because of this, I might have set a high expectation for his 2008 world tour. Last night's concert didn't disappoint me (I did enjoyed) but neither it impressed me. The stage was really nice with those 3D set ups, and there were fireworks from time to time surprising audiences. Songs were great, however, there was too much of lagging time. He took a long time during his changing of costume and there weren't enough songs that he sang. I wished he would have sang more songs.
Anyhow, Jay is really a talented singer. He could play all sorts of instruments. He played the piano, guitar, drum and "gu zheng" last night. And we all felt... "wow.. he's just so good in everything." Another thing which I don't really like was the way he left the stage. There wasn't a proper major thank you or anything. He just left like that after the last song. But again, maybe it was his cool way to do it to show that he is the really "Zhou Dong"...
This concert is not as good as Jacky Cheung, but I still love his songs nevertheless.
For me, it would have been better if he showed more effort to do well. But, it was still an enjoyable night with the cousins. And not to forget, I saw a friend before the concert started. So, the concert weren't all bad after all.
Cheers to JAY CHOU!! ^^

I've been working for a week now. This job came to me easily as I replace my cousin's place when she resumed study after her temporary job at Damansara in a legal firm. Moreover, the easier part is through my aunt. She's working there. I needn't any resume or interview and that's how lucky I felt.
Now I could at last understand the feeling of a working person of working everyday from 9am-6pm. It's really tedious! To perform well, I have to sleep early and wake up before the sunrise. Then I have to have 3 meals a day to keep up my energy in a full level. Gosh! I hope after I stop working, I won't gain too much weight...
Working in a legal firm requires me to type a lot of documents especially letters. It is also my first time using a photocopy machine and fax machine. I learned how to adapt to working environment and avoided myself from doing mistakes. However, unfortunately.. I think I created much trouble to my colleague. I hope she won't blame me too much for it. :p
First compliment I had was
"You are very well-mannered. Your parents brought you up well." Well, that I have to thanks my parents I guess. The second one was "You speak very good English." This made me felt quite proud as I learned this myself. ^^
Apart from the salary, working is good for me because my mum at last approved my driving skills. I could finally drive out alone. Now I drive everyday to grandma's house and followed aunt's car to work. Then I'll drive back to home after work everynight.
That's an improvement for me.
And today, I could even drive out to meet a friend for "yum cha". Although I'm only restricted to drive during daytime but I'm already very satisfied. This temporary job really does more good than bad for me after all. Hopefully I'll do better for the next week and so... NO more mistakes please!! *crossing fingers*

Happy Chinese New Year!

There wasn't really Chinese New Year ( CNY ) mood this year. People are no longer excited by this festive season anymore. There weren't a lot of decorations in my neighborhood this year, and most of my friends went overseas for holiday instead staying to celebrate. Cousins and I were supposed to go on a trip too, but unfortunately, due to some mishaps, the trip has been cancelled. We were very disappointed and not really looking forward to CNY anymore.

However, CNY was not that bad when it arrives. The day before CNY, we at last felt a bit of excitement as I helped in decorating my house with loads of CNY stuff. Then we had reunion dinner at grandma's house like usual. Reunion dinner is always packed with relatives and the house is filled with warmth. Then all of us will go for the prayers at temples during midnight. I'm always happiest during the day before CNY... Because when CNY really comes, the feeling of excitement disappears as quickly as the feeling comes.

CNY this year was spent more or less like all the previous years. I've watched both CNY movies, Kungfu Dunk and CJ7. Movies were okay but there weren't really CNY movies like those productions last time. I've devoted most of my time to my family. The only thing different during this year's CNY is I never expected that Ah Hoong and friends will come and find me and even played cards at my house until 2.30am. Gosh.. Those 'gamblers'.. Haha.. Then we even spent the next whole day visiting house from house. We had dinner and they refused to let me pay my half. That was kind of them. It's the only surprise I have during this CNY. ^^

Then, I went to Seremban to visit my relatives. I'm always glad to go there because there many children around. I especially love to play with children. Only a year I haven't been meeting my nieces and nephews, and gosh.. How much they have grown. I have to chase them around in my high heels and that's definitely not an easy task. And I need to carry my 2 year old nephew a lot. He's just so cute and I can't resist playing with him although I'm tired. On the way back home during night, I fell asleep in the car.. At last some proper rest is granted.

Very quickly, CNY has gone by just like that... When CNY ends, we'll have to work hard for a year before the festive seasons are here again. So, wrap up your feelings and strive for the best in the new year people!

*****I didn't get to meet him at last... I expected that, but somehow, there is a tinge of disappointment in me. However, I'm already very used to this feeling, and I'm getting numb about it... So it's fine for me.*****
